Launch of CMylife

What started as a REshape 30days project, this april CMyLife has been launched: an online platform for patients with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML), their relatives and caregivers. It’s a great example of the collaborative power between patients and medical professionals; by working together they created a platform that empowers the patient and gives them more personal insight in their situation.

During the 30 day project with the Department of Hematology of the Radboudumc and the patient association Hematon we spoke with patients and professionals about some of the problems these patients experience and how these potentially be resolved. Based on the concept that was made during the 30 days, the department and the patient association continued along with REshape for the development of the platform together with partners as Albert Schweitzer hospital, VUmc, AMC, UMCG, Novartis and Pfizer.  Read more  on the website»

Innovation challenge students

About 450 Radboudumc students of medicine and biomedical sciences presented almost a hundred innovations on June 28th at the Innovation Bazaar. The past couple of months REshape welcomed a lot of teams to inspire them or coached them during their innovation proces.

We're proud that the winning team HospiTour also participated in Hacking Health Nijmegen and developed a 360-degree film for patients to be less anxious before heading to the OR.

Pilot VisitU Amalia Child hospital

Last year VisitU was one of the teams of the REshapeU startup track. The REshapeU Startup Track is a 6-month accelerator program which is set up for students with an entrepreneurial mindset and innovative ideas that can have a significant impact on healthcare.

VisitU supplies special glasses for patients in the pediatric ward of the Amalia Child Hospital so they can look around in 360 degrees at their homes or any other desired location and talk to their family and friends. This new technology can make the hospital stay more pleasant, and possibly promote their recovery.
