Transforming Autism: The Book
Available early to subscribers to this newsletter.
Transforming Autism presents our family's journey navigating our way through our son's autism. At 2 years old, he was utterly unreachable - there was no willingness for any kind of communication, and he especially resented hearing his name. He spend his days lying on the floor either staring into space of rolling a car backwards and forwards. He gradually lost all his speech and his ability to feed himself or care for himself in any way, and became prone to catastrophic meltdowns.
How, at 6, he is a wonderful, open, loving and joyful boy, living a contented and fulfilled life. Transforming Autism is the story of how we got here. As well as describing what we went through, it also goes into the detail of what we learnt in a way that is intended to empower other parents to be able to bring about similar changes, and it explores the new conception of autism that came out of this, and which is now the foundation of the Transforming Autism Project.
The book is officially launched on Wednesday, but.subscribers to this newsletter get a chance to read it early, via the links below.
