DOG ORDINANCE AT KENTUCKY HORSE PARK

The host state for this year's National Junior Limousin Show and Congress recommends dogs are left at home. However, if your dog does come along, it is mandatory for them to be on a leash at all times.

It is very dangerous for dogs to not be leashed due to the layout of the stall's proximity to the show ring.

KENTUCKY HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

A copy of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture Health Requirements can be found here.

You can also refer to page three of the NALJA News for Health Requirements. Please make sure you have your veterinarian issue the proper health papers in regard to Kentucky requirements. Be sure that you meet requirements for states that you will be traveling through as well. State officials have the right to request health papers at any time.

Have your health papers in order and with the cattle.

Please note that 302 KAR 20:065, Section 2 (3) (c) states that 'Cattle or other bovine species infected with warts, ringworm, or any other communicable disease shall not be eligible for exhibition'. A state vet trailer will be on the grounds near the Alltech Arena. You must check-in with them prior to entering.

The remainder of the committee members consist of Mat Lewis, Warren Symens, Bob Mitchell, Gordon Schuppe, Ronn Cunningham and Roger Vorthmann.
